Individual Achievements – Staff
The Physical Director Mr. S.Subburaman who is also a NSS officer
was awarded the title “Best NSS Programme Officer for the
2007 – 2008” by the Bharathidasan University.
The Physical Director Mr. S.Subburaman, has
been appointed as State Level Referee for Volley Ball Tournaments.
He has attended the coaching classes for National referees conducted
by the Sports Development Authority of Tamilnadu.

Mr. M.Alagesan, (B.Sc. Microbiology 2004 –
2007) (i) won in 10000m and 5000m race in the 6th National Federation
Cup Junior Athletic Championship held at Nehru Stadium, Chennai
on 09.06.2006, (ii) won in 1500 m and 500m (first place) in DYFI
5th Open State Level Athletic Championship 2006 held at Railway
Stadium, Madurai on 21.07.2006 & 22.07.2006, (iii) won in
10000 m (first place) and 5000 m (second place) in 21st State
Junior Inter District Athletic championship held at Madurai from
01.09.2006 to 03.09.2006, (iv) won 10000 m (second place) and
5000 m (fourth place) in 18th Southzone Junior National Athletic
championship held at M.G. Stadium, Raichur, Madhya .Pradesh from
20.09.2006 to 22.09.2006, (v) won 10000 m (second place), 5000
m (second place) and 1500 (third place) in Bharathidasan University
Inter Collegiate Track Field Meet held at Thanjavur from 06.10.2006
to 08.10.2006, (vi) won first place and a cash award of Rs. 3000/-
in Tamilnadu State Cross Country Race 2006 – 2007 held at
Dharmapuri on 07.01.2007
Mr. C.Saravanan (B.B.A. 2004 – 2007) won
second place in Bharathidasan University Inter Collegiate Track
and Field meet held at Thanjavur from 06.10.2006 to 08.10.2006.
Mr. K.Suresh (B.B.A. 2004 – 2007) won first place in Javelin
in Bharathidasan University Inter Collegiate Track and Field meet
held at Thanjavur from 06.10.2006 to 08.10.2006.
Mr. R.Mohamed Ifthkar (B.Sc. HM & CS 2005 – 2008) (i)
won first place in 110 m hurdle in Bharathidasan University Inter
Collegiate Track and Field meet he;d at Thanjavur from 06.10.2006
to 08.10.2006, (ii) won third place in Junior State Open Athletic
Meet (2006 – 2007) held at Madurai.
Ms. P.Shanmuga Valli (B.B.A. 2004 – 2007) won first place
in 10000 m and second place in 5000 m and 1500 m in Bharathidasan
University Inter Collegiate Track and Field meet at Thanjavur
from 06.10.2006 to 08.10.2006.
Mr. R.Karthikeyan (B.Sc. Information Technology 2004 – 2007)
won first place in weight lifting (85 kg category) in Bharathidasan
University Inter Collegiate weight lifting competition held at
Thanjavur from 06.10.2006 to 08.10.2006

Ms. S.Shanthi, B.B.A. (2002 – 2005) participated
and won second place in 1500 meters race at the World Peace Track
event conducted at SEOUL, South Korea in the year 2003 –
2004.
Ms. S.Shanthi, B.B.A. (2002 – 2005) participated
and won student has participated and own second place and Silver
Medal in the South Asian Games conducted at Doha in 2006 –
2007. The College invited her and honoured her with a cash award
of Rs. 2 lakhs offered by the Management of the College. |
