Off campus seminars:
The Department of Visual Communication arranged
a seminar at the World University Centre, Chennai for 3 days from
28th February to 1st March 2008. Well-known diginitaries from
the Cine field like Artist Visvam, Art Director Mr. Jayakumar
and Mr. Ghani, Scriptwriter and journalist addressed the students.
There was also a group discussion about cinema with Mr.Chezhiya
Cinematographer as anchor and moderator.

Communication in Cinema on 26.09.2007.
4. Mr. N.Sankar, Founder, Akkam Tust, Madurai
on Emotional Intelligence.
5. Dr. N.Renganathan, Academic Coordinator, Ad
and PR, Madurai Kamaraj University on 03.10.2007.
Extension :
The Department offers practical skill training
courses in Photography and Videography through rural youth through
the Mahalir Thittam of the Department of Social Welfare, Government
of Tamilnadu.
The Department is also will implement such courses for the IECD
cell of Bharathidasan University. |
